Note: The websites below represent a good source of homework practice and teaching resources. Along with practice, on some of the sites students can find step-by-step algorithms used to model solutions to various mathematical applications. To access any site below copy and paste the address shown into the URL box located at the top of any Internet page.
This information is updated at least twice a year. However, be aware than if in between updates you experience a technical problem or errors in accessing a website we would appreciate it if you can notify us.

Based on the content that we encountered when visiting the websites we found them as good aids in learning. Classroom instruction continues to remain at the foundation of what any student should attempt to master every day during the school year.
Middle School Math
- Buzzmath : An interactive website for practicing math problems and skills. Some of the content is free and some require a subscription. https://www.buzzmath.com/
- The Art of Problem Solving : this web site has hundreds of video lessons on grade 6, 7 and 8 math topics.

- This New York Education department website has information related to Common Core standards, assessments and other helpful resources.

- Brain teasers: Have some fun and challenge yourselves with brain teasers from NCTM Illuminations website.
G Grade 7 and 8- The Mathopenref website has topics from Pre-algebra, Algebra and Geometry. It is a good study guide and has some practice questions. Excellent for reviewing Geometry Constructions
- The Art of Problem Solving : this web site has hundreds of video lessons on grade pre-algebra and algebra math topics. They also have videos on problem solving strategies for the AMC math competition.
