Welcome to the Office of Instructional Technology and State Reporting
Through the integration of technology into the business, teaching/learning environment, students and staff will continue to develop as collaborators, critical creative thinkers, informed digital citizens and effective communicators in order to succeed in an ever changing technology based world.
"We are currently preparing students for jobs that don't yet exist... using technologies that haven't been invented... in order to solve problems we don't even know are problems yet."
- Richard Riley, former Secretary of Education
"When technology integration in the classroom is seamless and thoughtful, students not only become more engaged, they begin to take more control over their own learning, too. Effective tech integration changes classroom dynamics, encouraging student-centered project-based learning."
The Office of Technology and State Reporting supports both the instructional, administrative technology and state reporting needs of the district. This includes purchasing for technology and computers as well as technical support and network maintenance. This office coordiantes the collection and state reporiting of data. This includes but is not limited to reporting annually on the State Report Card, benchmarks and other data points. Technology professional development, instructional support, administrative office support, web site management and information systems management is also handled through this department.
